The family has given us an excellent service, the jazz music in the background was very calming and relaxing after a good hike, the views are spectacular and I liked their fruit garden a lot. On top, we had the best crepes in a long time. I had the one with homemade apple jam and cinnamon which was spot on! We did go back the other day and it was still as good! We tried this time also the taco with a sauce from Yucatan.. Fingerlicking good! A must go when you pass by!

Wonderful cafe and super friendly staff, I broke a mug by accident and they were really nice about it. Delicious hot chocolate and coffee. Would certainly come again.

Such a beautiful cafe! The chocolate is hot and medicinal, the food is decadently delicious, and the views are stunning! The best part is the host family that are incredibly loving, caring, and a joy to be around. Be sure to talk with them on your visit! Also, must check out the stream trail and fruit orchard. The owners also have a beautiful cabin you can rent to immerse yourself in the beauty of Capulalpam. They can also give you recommendations on where to go hiking, receive traditional medicine, and other outings to enjoy on your stay. This is a true gem of Capulalpam and one that you will cherish going to Thank you so much for everything!!

Fantastic cafe, restaurant and campsite! They welcomed us with open arms. Beautiful view and quite affordable. Lovely crepes and tlayudas. Came for dinner then returned the next day for breakfast.

We went there twice on a single day. First for coffee and cake, and because it tasted so well we came back for dinner - which was even better. Typical Mexican dishes, but with a special twist to them that tell you the chefs love their job. Combining beans with mint, truly a culinary masterpiece.

The food and coffee here is fantastic! And the family that runs the cafe, as well as the hotel down the road (El Verbo Cabanas) is so kind and welcoming. If you can stay the night, I highly recommend their hotel property!! The views from the cafe are beautiful as well. Provecho!

My friend and I ordered the cochinita pibil tacos and were blown away by how delicious they were. The latte was a rare find in Capu and very good. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The best part of El Verbo was Rosalinda (presumably the owner) who was a warm and friendly host. She even generously helped us arrange a taxi when we had to get back to our cabins across town and out of Capulalpam at the end of the day. Highly recommended!

I loved this place. It was opened at night and the old man assisting there made sure I got a whole tour around his coffee shop. The attention was super great! Went on a couple of dates here, great for any age range. The o my bad thing is that their tartas de membrillo as so good they are gone so quick !
